Tourists, know your rights.
Government of Rio de Janeiro, 2024.
Rio receives millions of tourists every year. For a government, welcoming them well means more than promoting landmarks. It means making essential information visible, clear and easy to act on. But in a fast-moving city, where information competes with everything else, how do you attract attention?
Turning public information into something that behaves like a brand.
A visual system designed to function in the real world — built within the constraints of government identity, but created for clarity in physical space. Iconic landmarks were transformed into a distinctive illustration language, making the system recognisable, ownable and easy to navigate across different audiences and languages.

Right where the city moves.
In Copacabana, the system became a physical experience. A branded information stand placed at one of the city’s most iconic and high-traffic locations, designed to be seen from a distance, approached intuitively and used without friction. More than a point of information, it acted as a landmark, a meeting point and a place of support — combining visibility, service and trust in a single environment.

Information that travels with you.
The project lived across the tourist journey.
A multilingual guide — “Tourists, Know Your Rights” — turned complex information into something simple and portable.
